What’s New?

In our latest update, we’ve added an immersive 3D mode. Now, you can navigate the labyrinth from a first-person perspective using a simple yet effective raycasting technique. Experience the thrill of running through the maze as if you’re truly inside it, bringing a whole new dimension to your puzzle-solving skills.

Game Modes & Features:

  • Memorization Phase: At the start of each level, the full maze is revealed for a limited time. Use this window to study the layout and plan your escape.
  • Navigation Phase: After the maze vanishes, rely on your memory and intuition to find your way to the exit.
  • Randomly Generated Mazes: Every playthrough is unique, ensuring endless replayability.
  • Cognitive Development: Designed to boost memory retention and improve problem-solving skills for both kids and adults.
  • 2D & 3D Modes: Choose between the classic top-down view or the new first-person 3D experience for an extra layer of challenge.

Control Scheme:

  • General:
    • ESC: Quit the program at any time.
  • Settings Screen:
    • Up/Down Arrows: Adjust the size of the maze.
    • Left/Right Arrows: Change the time allotted to memorize the maze.
    • -/= Keys: Modify the view distance.
    • B: Toggle the display of the best route during the memorization phase.
    • D: Toggle 3D mode on or off.
    • Enter: Start the game.
  • In-Game:
    • 2D Mode (Top View):
      • WASD / Arrow Keys: Move up, down, left, and right.
    • 3D Mode (First-Person View):
      • WASD / Arrow Keys: Move forward, backward, and strafe left/right.
      • Q, E or Mouse Movement: Rotate your view sideways.
    • R: Quit to the start screen.
  • End Screen:
    • Enter: Return to the start screen.
