Memory Maze

Challenge your memory. Test your problem-solving skills. Embark on an unforgettable journey through ever-changing labyrinths!

Overview
Memory Maze is a unique puzzle adventure designed to boost cognitive skills in both kids and adults. In this game, you're presented with a randomly generated maze that you have only a short time to study. During this memorization phase, your objective is to determine the best route to the exit.

How It Works

  • Memorization Phase: At the start of each level, the entire maze is revealed for a limited time. Use this opportunity to memorize the layout and plan your optimal path.
  • Navigation Phase: Once the timer runs out, the maze vanishes! You are left with just your immediate surroundings, and it’s up to your memory and intuition to navigate through the dark corridors to the goal.

Key Features

  • Randomly Generated Mazes: No two playthroughs are the same, ensuring endless replayability and fresh challenges.
  • Cognitive Development: Specifically designed to enhance memory retention and improve problem-solving skills.
  • Simple Yet Engaging: Easy-to-learn mechanics paired with progressively challenging levels create a rewarding experience for all ages.

Platforms & Availability

  • Linux: Currently available as a native Linux version.
  • Open Source: Check out the source code on GitHub: Memory Maze on GitHub
  • Future Releases: While the game is built with Pygame and should run out-of-the-box on Windows and macOS, a dedicated Windows installer is on the way (ETA undefined).
